Anyone else notice this? (Scorpion)

When you are in a scorpion, and fighting let’s say… another scorpion. If your hull is faced away from your opponent you will take less damage. I have tested the side armor, front, top, and rear. Even without a spartan in the tank it still takes 1 more shot than to the front/side of the tank. How long has this been a thing?

I never really noticed a difference.

That’s funny because in Halo Reach the back of the tank used to have a vent that was really sensitive and allowed enemies to destroy you faster if they shot it.

That’s still the weak spot as far as I know.

Link to a video that shows the weak points for Halo 5 vehicles.

Oh that’s interesting, I didn’t even know Halo 5 included weak spots on vehicles. They don’t show critical hits ever on vehicles. Thanks for the link!

Moving rear first makes you a smaller target, but I don’t think it makes you more resistant.
