Anyone else notice Locke's Pistol is not Halo 5's

The Magnum Locke is holding is from Halo Reach/4 (with classic zoom). It is not the variant from Halo 5 which has Smart Scope. Could 343i have removed Smart Scope? Maybe?

or its the legendery pistol for halo 5 since they are adding legendary weapons. lol
