I’ve noticed this a few times in the little I’ve played. I’ll literally keep moving on to the next player because I assume I killed someone with a perfect headshot and be shocked when I find the headshot didn’t register! Anyone else notice this?

I’ve noticed this too. Once I got a headshot with a Sniper Rifle on Complex(I even checked on theater to make sure) yet the person’s shields only went down.
Sorry to bring up a (really) old thread, but I have just noticed it, too. I just played a Big Team game and i had like 10 moments where I shot someone 2-3 times in the head with no shields and they still got away, I got an assist, or one of their teammates killed me after noticing. It must just be server lag, or something, because in the same game, We went to black screen (Host Migrate) 5 times (not exaggerating) in maybe 3 1/2 minutes.
Yeah me too, it is getting worse to be honest. Game dynamics or network latency somewhere, not sure wish I could RCA the problem, but it is becoming unplayable, sad really.
Honestly, I’m no expert but i think if one of the players has a poor network connection the game try’s to compensate. So folks with a good connection get kinda jipped. e.g. if everyone has pretty much equal ping rates then the game headshots will more likely register for all, if one or more have poor ping then the better network folks will feel the pain more. I’d love to look at the code that algorithmically determines this. Would be pretty cool.
