Anyone else not a fan of the gungoose?

Firstly, I’m not really a vehicle person, you’d probably see me in a Scorpion or a Wraith if any. I see a lot of threads about how good the gungoose is and other people talking about how they’ve never gotten it yet. Hell, I wish I could gift you all my gungooses because it’s probably one of my least favorite vehicles. Mongooses and gungooses in my opinion give the enemy a clear shot which is why I dislike them.

You can throw unlimited grenades in the passenger seat…

And I’m a fan of that.

I almost forgot about that… but that’s about the only thing I like about that lol

Yesterday I got two killing sprees with gungeese and got the pineapple express medal, I am very much a fan of the vehicle

I occasionally use it for the infinite grenades, but not much else.

I think you’re actually well protected, compared to the warthog gunner for example. When I 1vs1 a gungoose, I usually lose. I have to admit though that I rarely use gungoose in warzone, since I always prefer the ghost. I have about 60 of them.

In the wrong hands or in the wrong circumstances, the gun goose is a death sentence. In the right hands or in the right circumstances, the gun goose is an incredible vehicle to have. Games have been won because of gun gooses.

Personally, I think it’s a really solid vehicle. I’m just god-awful at using it, so I avoid it. If you know what you’re doing, though, it’s deadly.

Im mkt a fan but ive seen people use the infinite granades to good effect so it must be useful for some

It’s fantastic. No idea why it didn’t always have dual grenade launchers.

Usually it is parked by the core. The driver is shooting the grenade launcher on one side, and the passenger is chucking infinite grenades on the other. Really helps to cover the two main entrances so that the other teammates can focus more on the other pathways.

I love the gungoose. It is fun to drive around and the passenger gets infinite grenades! Not too practical in warzone where everyone gets power weapons but in BTB it is useful.

Call me conservative, but I think it’s BS that they put one -Yoink- kill rocket launchers on it, but I get that it kind of justifies the quadrillion of 'em that are in REQ packs. I basically finance all my REQ purchases from selling mongeese :stuck_out_tongue:

The gungoose is fantastic. It takes a little time getting used to the rigid aiming angles it has, but once you do that learn the arc of the grenade launchers it’s a blast.

I like to think of the gungoose as the counter to the ghost.
I win 8/10 times when fighting against ghosts because the gungoose can make hairpin turns much faster than a ghost can.

I preferred the one with SMGs on the front, not bouncing rubber bombs.

You mean grenade launchers. There are none with SMGs.
The bouncing grenades are exclusive to the ONI Gungooses whereas other gungooses have grenades that explode on contact.
*I think the ONI variant is hard to use too…

Gungoose is bae.

Semi-related, but has anyone else noticed that the service record refers to it as the “Wargoose?” Odd.

He is most likely talking about the one in H2A. I actually very disappointed that one isn’t in Halo 5.

Im not sold on it but i dont hate it either. Really i just use it if i need the reqs but its also last vehicle option
