I think it’d be pretty awesome if, in Halo 4 or any future games really, they gave us mini-campaigns as DLC. Personally, I’d buy it in a heartbeat. Perhaps playing as Thel on Installation 04, before he was made the Arbiter. Or playing as an ODST on Installation 04. How about playing as a Brute in the Covenant Civil War? Maybe we could even play as a flood form from the Mona Lisa series. Being Jenkins or Johnson defending Harvest until everyone made it off the Tiara. Things like these.

Personaly i feel this is a great idea,plus with the new dlc for gears 3 you get to step into the shoe of General RAAM. Ive always thought why any halo game hasnt tried campaign dlc. This would add more to the halo univers. I think it would be cool to play as a brute especially if you could go all rage like when u piss the brutes off. You could charge like in halo 2 or do those big jumps where u would punch in mid air.
Heck, I’d settle for one long bonus mission. A short vignette, about the length of Assault On The Control Room or a little longer… maybe for 400 MSP? I could see that happening. So long as it was self-contained, and above all, done well, I’d totally buy that.

It actually might not. When you develop a game, you do so in stages that causes groups to be sitting around, basically doing nothing for a while. Now as they’re locked in for two more games, that wont necessarily be the case here but there’s still a good chance that it could happen. There’s always teams like Sabre that could do most of the work though.

I think that would be cool if they covered some major popular parts in the halo series novels! But as one of the posters said, it would take away from develpment time which these days most don’t have time to spare. cool idea though!!

idk that is a good question. But time spent making games can be a unclutch sometimes! As a game tester, ms is a huge company so Halo projects shouldn’t be to hard to cook up since they are past the number of bungie employees! so idk what is stopping them! For now lets just let them work on H4 and see what comes next.
Ever since I saw the Mona Lisa motion comic I’ve been wanting a game based on it. Playing as a marine dealing with the flood on a desolate ship in ill lit environments would be awesome imo.
I would definitely love for them to provide some SP (as well as MP) DLC as we wait for the next game. They could expand upon the Halo 4 experience with different perspectives (some that don’t necessarily need to be on the Forerunner planet).
