Maybe this wait is all part of the plan to keep us at bay and then BAM. They release a badass trailer. Something that feels dark in the light, that will capture an epic feel. I imagine amazing animations, and art similar to CEA.
If we dont get gameplay, we’ll probably get something that will let us get a better grasp on what to expect of H4s story.

Well, I don’t think we’ll be getting any “new” trailer until E3. Microsoft’s flagship series is Halo after all. They’d want to show what the have for it off at E3, arguably one of the biggest days of the year for any video game fan.

When a trailer does get released (whenever that may be), I’m hoping it blows me away. Can’t wait.
As for getting something before E3, it would be nice, but I wouldn’t get my hopes up if I were you guys, it might just set you up for disappointment. Remember the VGA’s?
I wouldn’t be surprised if we got a few titbits before E3, but I’m thinking the next major trailer will be then. I doubt we’ll get nothing until then but that we do get, probably won’t be huge.

I agree. People seriously need to stop thinking we’re not going to get a trailer until E3. In my opinion, that’s too long of a wait. That would mean we did not get information for a whole YEAR. Obviously it won’t be long until 343 starts releasing information about the game. I guarantee we won’t have to wait till E3. Now obviously at E3 that’s where most of the game is going to be showcased and possibly playable to the people attending.
I reckon there will be a big trailer to go along with either the Avengers or DKR in the cinema.
Don’t ask me why I think this, I just have a feeling that they may do what they did with Halo 2 and 3…

E3 would be the perfect time to get a trailer because then we have to wait just close to half a year for Halo 4 when the trailer comes.
If we have something to grasp on to early then we still would want more.
More stuff will spoil the game and make it less exiting, we would know to much.
The lack of stuff we are getting is a good thing, we are all really pumped for one, and if we get it early we won’t be as exited as we are suposed to be. We have a teaser and trailer to hold on to and thats enough for now, infact im going to watch the two right now.

I agree, the E3 nonsense is getting old, will we see stuff at E3 most likely, But I really doubt that 343i will wait until big conventions to show of Halo 4. Plus we don’t know other than Q4 when the game is being released, so for all you know, it could be 4 or 5 months after E3 that game game is released, and I don’t know about you, but I don’t think waiting until it’s 4 or 5 months until release to show off new stuff is a good move, and waiting until the 6 month mark is a good move in theory, but in reality, it’s better to start showing off stuff at the 7 or 8 month mark.
Has anyone even thought about the possibility of a Super Bowl Trailer? It wouldn’t be the first time a Halo trailer was shown at the Super Bowl. Halo 3 had one. It wasn’t gameplay, but gave you a look at the bubble shield, which at the time was new and unexpected. The trailer would be short, but we’d get some hints at least. Though I do agree that we’ll get something bigger before E3. They wouldn’t dare make us wait that long.

We had the same wait with Halo 3. History has shown that waiting 7 months isn’t a problem. It worked with Halo 3, it worked with Zelda Skyward Sword and it can work with Halo 4.

I’m not disagreeing with you at all. Only time will tell what is gonna happen.

Guys, E3 2012 is 5 more months away. It really isn’t that long. My god time flies by like a rocket ship going through a tunnel, or a sniper shot from A to Z!
And when E3 2012 is there we’ll get info that can keep us occupied for 5 or 6 more months when Halo 4 releases.
Be patiënt, time really goes fast and we all will get what we want soon enough.
I’m pretty ‘‘EXCITED’’ for some kinda gameplay. Yeah i want a new trailer.

oh yeah, microsoft wants to make halo 4 sell well by making fans lose interest.
It’s seems like they’re behind on productuion for this game.
