Personally, I’m just waiting to play the campaign after seeing Infinite’s multiplayer model. It’s honestly turned me off from playing and I’ll most likely never touch the game again after I complete the campaign, unless there’s some huge update with how multiplayer is for both game modes and customization. The free-to-play model has ruined the feeling of Halo multiplayer for me because you have to pay for every little customization piece, rather than earn it through gameplay. I know I can’t be the only person thinking this.
I just hope the campaign is really good, otherwise I’ll be very disappointed.
I’m finding the multiplayer quite lacking & with how it currently is I probably won’t find myself returning too often
but I’m very excited to play the campaign, it’s pretty much tradition for me to complete every Halo campaign on legendary so I’ll be suffering over the holidays, pray for me. (っ °Д °;)っ
I want the campaign as soon as really, it looks really fun but I’ve been avoiding watching any YouTube footage of it so I can experience everything first hand. Pre-ordered it earlier today.
I’ll spend most of next week playing it, but I’ll make sure to show the multiplayer some love to do my weekly challenges and in case they drop any new playlists or content.
I’m incredibly excited for the campaign but don’t just want that. The reason Halo is my favorite series of all time is because it’s the only franchise where I love campaign equally as much as multiplayer. In most series I generally prefer one over the other.
This is honestly one of, if not the only game where I won’t be going back and playing the multiplayer. Back in the days of Halo 3, ODST, and Reach, I’d often switch between replaying campaign and picking up some matches with a few friends. It’s pretty sad now looking at Infinite, but MCC has cured that multiplayer Halo itch, lol
Although I’m a whiny baby about most of the situation, I will likely complete campaign, but also come back for Swat and FFA because those sound really fun. I look forward to not RNG Slayer/Objective.
