Earlier it was taking seconds- and now I haven’t been able to get into a game. My question is- is It just bugged or is the population low atm?

Restart your console. Every once in a while I hit a patch where I can’t even match a single player so I restart and then it works. And I also notice it wortks better if you access it through Halo MCC like don’t go straight tio the halo 5 Beta button on the dashboard
