anyone else have this?

If i tap my left stick in the left direction i move on my own very slowly in that direction, in a similar motion to lagging out, until i tap another direction, i thought my controller was busted so i used it on console and i dont have the issue, is it my end or?

I had this happen to me as well, but on console. It eventually just stopped after a couple weeks

Very vauge description but sounds like joystick drift, by default on Windows and Linux there’s 0 deadzone on joysticks or axi. You just need to increase deadzone for the stick, this can either be done via the Steam controller bindings menu, or if you’re specifically using an Xbox controller you could possibly use the Xbox Accessories app on the Windows Store.

The game has dead zone configuarability for both the x and y axes.

Sounds like joystick drift mate, have a muck around with your dead zones to try and fix it!

Deadzone only goes up to 20 in halo. You could try to get JoyToKey if you’re on PC and make a custom dead zone. If you’re on console this is controller related. Not the game. You’ll either have to buy a new controller, adjust deadzone and hope it’s under 20%, or fix take it apart and fix the joysticks. My Xbox 360 controller had this issue, and I’m too lazy to fix it again so I just got a wire for my Xbox One controller on PC.
