Anyone else have that "ITs not lag/desync I am just bad moment?"

Realized after a BTB game where I kept getting sniped, only for another person over mic to call me out, for going through an obvious kill box.

Note this isn’t an excuse as some times it is lag or desync I mean getting shot while behind cover tends to be lag, and no mater what dying on dry land from a fall when the server says you are 3 feet to the left sucks.

But damn there are times where I have been like, well I suck. Mostly after doing something like missing a full drum from the bulldog.

It’s usually about three quarters of the way through any gunfight.

Up until that point I’m usually holding my own and coming across as somewhat competent.

And then I’ll do something to betray that trust… run out of bullets and start reloading… try and panic melee them, but like while standing 3m in front of them… or just jump straight up in the air mid strafe.

I know when I’m bad and I know when I’m not. But when I’m constantly getting sniped or BR’d around corners, I instinctively pull up my networking statistics and lo and behold : 150 - 200 ping

After seeing that I feel vindicated and just stopped caring about precision kills for the match and go for all the underhanded stuff for squeezing out kills.

I have had my moments where I know I died because I was simply outplayed. Of course, there are a few times where I feel like an AR fight has started, but I look like I am dying to fewer bullets than the person is dishing out. Desynch is there and it is a problem, but I can’t always blame it when there are times I am genuinely outperformed by another player.

I think most seasoned Halo players know when they get outplayed. Most of us know we aren’t all MLG gamers but still enjoy the game regardless. Im never gonna be a sweat, but I don’t consider dying around a wall to be outskilled

Found out that is because the AR has a 1.3x damage multiplier on head can’t head shot but does bonus damage, most weapons in infinite have that.

Hell the plasma pistol can head shot but only with an overcharged shot. I have gotten 2 head shot kills with it.
