No they’ve managed to make the game worse in most ways. I’m just playing until something else that isn’t BR comes along

I have hopes. Not high, though. Keeping them very grounded.
Right now the game does not respect the player’s time. And I don’t know how long it will take to fix that.

I’m still optimistic that the game has alot of potential. It doesn’t mean that the game hasn’t stumbled alot, and probably will still do that. Its not as though playing Halo has been keeping me from playing other games. Just an hour or two a day and I get that much more progress.
For me, it’s rather a “had” than a “have”.
They might turn it around next Season. Perhaps the one after that.
Maybe they won’t before 2024. I do not know.
Yes they are working on it and I don’t want to be someone to simply dismiss work being done just because it’s not the progress I’d like to see, but with the amount of changes needed to motivate much of the playerbase to come back versus what is being delivered per season so far, to me it is looking grim.
yes, and i don’t understand why people that don’t choose to hang around and make it their sole objective to convince everybody that this game is garbage. people can have opinions, but i feel like there’s a lot of elitism coming from “the true Halo fan” crowd that makes them feel obligated to try to stop people from having fun or even having positive opinions about Infinite. if you’re not enjoying the game, cool, leave and let the people that are have some fun. i just dont get choosing to immerse yourself in a game you don’t enjoy playing. its unhealthy and neurotic lol
Of course I was hoping it was going to be great but I was fully expecting it to flop really. I mean what Halo game has 343 made that was truly great. Not saying they haven’t done anything good but every Halo they made has been pretty bad out of the box. I suppose they aren’t the only studio who releases their games and then you have to wait for patches and updates for it to finally get good and to proper game level. Infinite has good mechanics just needs way better maps, way better progression system, and more campaign features.

Until they overhaul the progression, and fix the desync problems, not at all. I get more for my time with other games tbf

If things cannot improve within the next 2 seasons then the game is a lost cause. The game should be 1.5 / 2 years old by then and have plenty of time to have improved, if its still not then it might be better at that point to just ditch the 10 year support plan and make a new game

Look at how long it took them to make MCC a proper game… Took so long it is now a superior Halo game and players still won’t come back to it.

Honestly I feel, By the time the game does get to a desired area, I’ll already moved on to something else and it’s just going to be another Halo 5 where I end up not playing the game anymore.

I did have…after the beta I was hyped…finally halo was back…finally a halo that felt like halo (to me)…
I was ove rthe moon, I was estatic…and then the “beta” was the full release (as I predicted and was lambasted for on these forums)
And then the content drought began…and then the season was 6 months long,…and then desync… and not being able to find a game with under 200ms ping…and a plethora of small little errors and misjudgements making mole hills into mountains…and then news of season 2…also six months long…only two new maps…LSS which is woeful (in my opinion)…and then news that forge “betea” isn’t until september…and campaign co-op won’t be until august (maybe)…and…
I’m tired my dude…
My honest opinion is now that by the time that halo infinite is a content complete game the game will be almost gone and forgotten

Maybe 343 will fix the game at some point to make it playable, but it will be too late. Most people play other games or have taken a long vaccation from Halo. They will never get 500.000 players again.

They’ll be pushing out Season 3 by the end of the year.
That is wishful thinking of youre expecting them to have this game fixed up by then.
