I have this odd audio glitch,

…and asking around, I can’t seem to find anyone else who is experiencing it.
In matchmaking, certain lines of dialogue will repeat. Either 3, 4, or 5 times.
And it’s never “Spartan Chatter” lines, like “Watch my back”.
But always either lines from my My AI Buddy: [regardless which]
“Grappleshot; obtained”.
“Grappleshot; obtained”.
“Grappleshot; obtained”.
“Grappleshot; obtained”.
“Grappleshot; obtained”.
…or Jeff Steitzer:
“Gained the Lead”!
“Gained the Lead”!
“Gained the Lead”!
I am pretty sure Commander Agrina’s lines never repeat…
Just my AI Buddy and Jeff Steitzer.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Any known fixes?
Should I reinstall?

Commonly happens. It is a sign that you are suffering hard desync.
Restart the game to get rid of the desync.
I restart the game constantly [for all the other stupid reasons] and it doesn’t fix it.
Happens literally every game I play.

What system are you playing on? It could be more common on Xbox One or PC.

I dunno why you are encountering it so often. I encounter it maybe once every few matches.
I’ve seen it a few times, but not much.
I hear it sometimes, but I don’t play often enough to notice. It started recently, probably after the new BTB attempted patch. Never heard it happen before Cyber Showdown. 343’s fix was a break it seems
FWIW, I have tried deleting and reloading Halo Infinite.
It didn’t help.
It happens to me sometimes with my XBSX.

This has only happened to me since the start of season 2 but happens pretty consistently
I haven’t experienced that in a while, try updating and restarting both console and game. Iirc, this has only ever happened to me when playing split screen.
It’s May 10, 2022 this issue still happens.
Since Season 2 To sum it up:
The announcer keeps repeating “Ball dropped” or “Enemy has the ball”
The screen glitches out and you can’t aim
Random parts of the HUD, like the map and objective, disappear for upto 5 seconds so far
Grenade explosions would sometimes repeat a few dozen times, audio included, but won’t do damage.
The screen glitching out doesn’t happen with other games either. Has anyone else experienced such glitches or bugs since the new update?
