I thought this was a next gen game. I’m sliding and we’ll past a wall before I can get killed but I still get registered as killed? Oh but when I have some with this shield broken and aiming at the head, but they run away and make it out.

Sounds like you were killed before you actually slid. It doesn’t matter how much money a company spends trying to fix this. Your client has to communicate with the server which has to communicate with the other player. There will be latency. Welcome to every online shooter ever.
That’s rarely happened to me if at all in Halo Reach and 4. Halo 3 obviously cause of bad netcode but I know when I say I’m sliding or well in a full on Sprint around the corner.
not only do I get shot behind corners, around bends, etc, but I have physically seen players rubber banding - no not ‘moving back and forth’ to avoid being shot - literally dashing full speed and jittering forward and backward.
Yup, all the time. I can’t find the perk for Wanted bullet curving in the battle pass or the cash shop, must have been a preorder bonus I missed because I didn’t want to get the turbo-ultra-platinum campaign deluxe edition. Bummer.
Yes. As well as rubber-banding all over the damn map, sometimes being placed off the map only to fall to my death, or removed from a ledge, etc. And no, it’s not an issue with my internet; the MCC (and other Multiplayer games) work just fine. Something’s up with the servers.
