So I have 25 Mbps down and 5 Up. I gave my xbox a static IP, forwarded all necessary ports, and even set the QoS on my router to high priority for my xbox, so if other people are on, my xbox will literally take whatever bandwidth it needs. I still have not been able to play MP without major lag. Anyone reading should be able to see that its not on my end, I bought this game for the multiplayer and so far have barely been able to experience it.
I was really excited to get ranked, but even though I have been playing since launch night I barely ranked last night on Slayer, and all the games I finished for a rank I was getting lagged so bad, i could barely get kills and died all the time. Most other games I am booted from. This has not been a fun experience for me so far, please please please someone help. I work in IT, so if someone has any ideas on whtlat I can do let me know, I should be able to do it. I just want to play this game.
I have a buddy in San Diego. He was getting constant lag every game for the first day we played.
Time Warner Cable customers apparently had a horrible connection to the thunderhead servers.

Is he still having issues? Cause I also use TWC, and do you know what he did to fix it?

Do you know of any fixes for it? Cause I can’t change my ISP, its the only one where I live with decent speed for a good price.
Hmm did u do a digital download?
I ask because tw has been known to down throttle residential addresses after you’ve used x amount.
Than they say the more expensive x service will fix the issue.

No I have a physical copy. I just saw a pretty big reddit board and apparently people are experiencing quite a bit of lag and TWC seems to be the culprit. I suppose I could change my dns settings, possible put my xbox IP into the DMZ(which isn’t very desirable) and see if that works, but the reason I haven’t done any of these things hefore is because I never had to. Its becoming very frustrating.
TWC is the devil, seriously.
I use TWC as well, I have the 50mb down and 10 up. The only time I see lag is if one guy is lagging. The rest of the match goes smooth.

What is your set up? I’m not saying TWC is for sure the culprit, it just seems the most like from what I have heard. I have tried just about everything on my end, and when I get home from work, I will try the last few things. My only other option out here is verizon at like $80 a month for like 10 or 15 megs, as opposed to the $50 I pay for 25. I have racked my brain trying to figure out the issue, and just want to know if anyone can think of something that I haven’t.
I get lag. Worse on Warzone its kinda good on arena.

Do you have Time Warner Cable? So far I haven’t played a single game without at least some lag, warzone is pretty much unplayable for me.
I have TW and i lag whenever some keys up on the mic. That’s the only time. I’m replacing the modem. Theirs sucks. As for them throttling. I used 500gbs last month and never saw a drop in speed. Just old wives tale’s to scare people.

I have consistent speeds as well, but I have definitely noticed that pretty much everyone with issues, has twc. Not all people with it have issues, but that seems to he the one thing that everyone has in common. I will also try a different modem as well, sonce lots of people have suggested it.
I have TWC and I’m getting 70-80 down, 23-28 up with the new router upgrade they sent me. I’ve had only had one game where it seemed a little laggy.
