Anyone else getting kicked from WZ?

This is the second day in a row where I can’t finish a WZ FF. After round 2-3, I’m getting kicked directly to a loading screen. Anyone else having this issue?

Yes, this is happening to many players. Recently they found a major exploit in the system allowing for Spartan Companies to falsely create custom matches and grind certain commendations. Their apparent fix is to kick people off of war zone while they fix this.

Agreed, considering I myself am in a company. We are distraught that it has been going on since release. The worst thing is that now players who just want to play the innocent game of warzone are being affected. Hopefully the developers just let it happen and fix it through a patch. It’s been going on since launch, companies have been doing it forever it sounds like. I don’t see why they have to do this now. Let it happen and fix it through a patch as soon as possible…

The servers have seemed a little off lately, but that is definitely not whats happening… Sounds like a rumor you heard from a friend. As a rule of thumb you should probably find a official source before posting about it on Waypoint. If you’d like to leave your constructive feedback you can do so here. Spreading false information benefits no one.

Thanks for the clarification. I’ve been getting kicked way too often lately. I’m hoping it gets fixed in the next day or so.

There is a thread pinned at the top of the Halo 5 Support Forum (previous page) for discussing server related problems. You are likely to get more responses from there.

Most of the time any one-off problems with the servers can be solved by just waiting for them to clear up themselves, or by completing a cold reset of your Xbox One. To perform a cold reset, hold down the power button (Xbox logo on the front of your console) for 10 seconds. Additionally, I sometimes find resetting Alternate MAC Address in network settings on your console can make the game a lot more responsive.
