For me, it’s more so with the ghost. It’s driving me nuts. I’ve boosted into plenty of people only to get their shields to flare.
Oh, but there are those people that don’t even boost, simply nudge and kill you.

This was happening a lot during the first month I played the game. Full dead on boost in a ghost crash in to someone was like hitting a brick wall. They not only live and take hardly and damage, the force flipped me over and out of the vehicle.
Most likely lag.
Its been that way since day one. I still love the Ghost however in this game… enough firepower to make it a deadly adversary and it’s found on most maps.
Try and get a splatter with the atv. Now that’s truly frustrating.
Yeah, but I only started noticing it in Reach. I never had problems before then.
That should’ve been a splatter only comes up in Reach and halo 4.
On Reach I could get a good line of folks splattered in a BTB game. In H4 I go zooming into the same amount of people and maybe splatter one of them after hitting 4 players. Is it lag? Are the spartan4’s that much tougher? Glad I got that commendation maxed out. CTF on Complex is a good one to work on it.
Have a clip in my file share where I ran over an enemy flag carrier on Shatter at full speed in a ghost and nothing happened to him. The ghost then got stuck in the rock next to where he was running and he killed me with a single flag melee. Needless to say, I was laughing really hard and also pretty frustrated. Top speed direct hit=nothing, 3mph accidentally bumping your teammate=betrayal. Vehicle physics in this game bewilder me, I’ve never had these issues in any other Halo game…
I don’t even go for the splatter anymore, they usually just bounce off my vehicle. ESPECIALLY with the ghost.
