I play a lot of breakout and I have noticed that the shotgun tends to be very inconsistent. By this I mean that I can be at the same range as someone, both at full shields and I aim at his head, he aims at me and I die, while he does not? I have found this to happen many times and it seems to almost be random as to if you get a 1 shot kill with a shotgun or not. Anyone else experiencing this? On a side note the full shields and starting shotguns in breakout make boost slamming completely useless, as I have slammed down ontop of an enemy and not killed him and then been shot once by him with his Shotgun and died.
Not the shotgun as much, I find it to be the scattershot that is much more inconsistent.
If im correct you do not get a bonus for hitting the head with the shotgun. The head has a smaller hitbox so more of the shots are missing. Thats my best guess. I don’t seem to find it inconsistent.

Yeah, don’t aim at the head with a shotgun.
The only thing consistent with the Shotgun is me getting blasted to the respawn camera by it every time I turn a corner.
It is hilariously inconsistent, which is why it should not be in Breakout.
Ah see I guess I just thought you should aim for the head no matter what weapon you are using. Good to know that for sure.

I agree, but it is what it is, I honestly wish they would go back to the old breakout with no shields or radar and smg/pistols. But I still do enjoy playing breakout more than any other arena playlist.
