Anyone else feel the lack of rewards/content for buying a £55 game?

So the other day I completed Halo Infinite on Legendary in high hopes to unlock master chiefs armour to use in the multiplayer, however what I was met with was soul destroying. I spent hours playing the game and I really enjoyed it but I also spent a lot of time getting frustrated in boss fights and getting close to pulling my hair out over being killed after nearly killing the boss only to have to keep repeating the fight (Obviously…) After all the work I put into playing it I found that I was rewarded with nothing, Not even a stupid name tag… nothing (not that I wanted a name tag. I felt the chiefs armour would be a fitting reward) and so I carried on playing now grudged by the fact I was given nothing and went to collect all the spartan cores and armour lockers.

I find it rather odd that Infinite is marked as a £55/$60 G̶a̶m̶e̶… Campaign and yet there is next to no rewards what so ever? Now I do understand that the development cycle was rough and 343 haven’t had a smooth trip but lets be real this trend of releasing games when they are not ready needs to stop. Microsoft wanting the game released to help the console didn’t help either. But I digress, My fingers are crossed that 34 armour/weapon/vehicle colours isn’t considered at all worth the price tag? Slapping free to play on the multiplayer doesn’t mean that you no longer required to make any multiplayer rewards. I find it rather sad that the multiplayer is monetisation central. I still paid for a full price game and it feels like im being conned out of any reward due to the words free to play. I get that companies want to make money but when I am met with a battle pass day 1 with all the main rewards and I have to pay for it along with anything in the store without any proper base game content for having paid for the game is pathetic. Armour colours are not a reward in my eyes for my money. Seriously where is my armours? It is sad to say that Halo 3 with all ten armour sets has more base game armours you can unlock than halo infinite…

Its been said enough but when you haven’t worked for the armour your wearing. when you look at someone wearing a cool armour you don’t get that feeling of wonderment. They must be a good player? no… they paid for that armour most likely…

Halo Infinite needs a content drop for players who paid for the game with armours, AI skins and so fourth because right now I am seeing more content being dropped into the store than the entire game…

I hope this issue gets fixed before I find myself looking for a new game to play. I love Halo but I don’t like feeling cheated and bored and I find myself launching the game and getting bored before even playing a match…
