Does anyone else feel hurt by the MLG comunity taking part in the Halo 4 beta? I dislike complainers as much as the next guy but I feel as if this decision was unfair. Just because people are good at a game doesnt mean that they are better than every one else. I believe that people that have played every halo game (Halo CE, Halo2, Halo2 PC, Halo3, Halo Wars, Halo 3:ODST, and Halo Reach) should have a chance to play.
If they can let people like the MLG comunity play, why dont they just release a public beta. I am a die hard Halo fan, and this decision hurts me, us hardcore fans have been through it all and barely get any recognition. Sorry if this is against the rules, but Im fighting for a good cause. Everyone with a decent knowledge of the Halo MP should be able to take part in the beta. Just do the thing that bungie did with the Halo Reach beta by sending out beta codes by email to people who played the past games with dedication and energy.
Please 343, hear me out. If your not gonna put out a public beta, at least show us some proper game play.
On the bright side, if the MLG community says its good, maybe some fears will cease. I mean, a lot of people are concerned for Halo 4’s competitive play.
They had multiple people form multiple communities play testing last night. This Spartan Life and Louis Wu, founder of Halo.Bungie.Org were play testing it also.
I don’t really care but seems like MLG players of any game get to play the games months early when there are REAL hardcore fans who buy every game,Dlc,books etc. not saying that’s me but those are the people who should get to play the game months early but adding a few MLG player doesn’t hurt.

Public betas are hard to handle. But if there were a closed beta only if you have Reach or Anniversary it will make it easier for 343 to handle.
If 343i really has let MLG pros play the game and participate in the beta, maybe Halo 4 isn’t lost after all. If anyone can give 343i good advice about fixing the massive flaws in their game, it’s MLG. Maybe all hope isn’t lost?

but what about all of the REAL halo fans? Not saying all MLG players are COD players, its just that i feel everyone deserves a chance to try it out.

Don’t get me wrong, I would love to play the beta, but if 343i has to pick a small group of people to play, I’m glad it’s MLG.
They did say it was going to be competitive. Also remember the mlg community knows best what they want in the mlg play time. They will have more play types for different variants of games so I am not worried.
