Here are the two situations.
- Playing by yourself 1080i, 52" TV, Fiber college network. So network lag is out of the question.
- Play with another player. ( 2 total). Same setup as above.
Play a matchmaking game on any map larger than Haven. You’ll notice not network lag, but the video lag which slows down incredibly badly in busy parts of the map. The new forge playlist is impossible to play, as it lags so badly everything is like half a second off when you click it. Which makes playing with anyone else out of the question.
To test this. I put in Halo 3 and signed in 4 players. Played matchmaking, no lag. I put in Halo reach, signed in 4 players, played matchmaking no lag. Played Halo 4, signed in 2 players, had more lag then the combined lag of the 2 previous games with 4 players each signed in.
