Is anyone else specifically excited for Split-Screen on Infinite?
Very excited if it has 4 player capability. If it’s just 2 I don’t really care because my brother and I have our own Xbox’s so we can just play via online co-op but if it’s 4 then that’ll be great because then we can have 4 people on a box for when people come over. Hell we could even get a 4v4 going with 4 on 2 boxes.
VERY MUCH SO!!!
No, not at all. It’s a feature I never use, and never will. However, I’m happy it’s back for those of you that like it.
I’m looking forward to being able to do co-op on it.

Exactly my thoughts as well
I just hope they allow lan capabilities as well.
Split screen was a way to introduce friends to halo. And now that I’ll be In a college dorm next year I hope to get my roomie hooked (or annoyed)
Yes, but much more excited for real ACTUAL LAN to be back. That is where my friends and I used split screen. I’m looking forward to having LAN parties again
Oh my gosh yes! My brother and I routinely play MCC whenever he comes to town, thanks to the split screen capability. Of course that means we don’t play H5 all that much together. So if Infinite has split screen, we can finally make some new memories with that game
Split-screen is one of the most important elements of any Halo game for me, campaign AND multiplayer. With as many flaws as Halo 5 had, none were as terrible as its lack of split-screen in my opinion.
Now I can play with other people in my house, at the same time!
Yep, I’m ready to invite friends over to play just like we did in the old days. I think split screen is one of those features I miss not only in Halo but most modern games. I remember back in the day a friend would come over and we’d look through games we could play together and almost every game had some sort of splitscreen mutliplayer. Then the 360 came out and the number of games we could play like that went down. Then the One came out and almost every game was out except CoD or Halo 4. Then Halo 5 came out and we were left with CoD for any sort of split screen MP. Maybe partly that is because I am more picky about which games I buy and I don’t have nearly as many as when I was a kid but even when looking for new games I look for splitscreen and just many games don’t have it at all.

Totally correct. period.
Oh yes.Just sitting down with a buddy or two to play through the entire Halo series (except for 5) and mixing it up with split screen matchmaking. Its gonna be great!
I’m definitely looking forward to reliving some good old couch co-op days with my oldest friends. I’ve had some long-standing traditions of playing split screen Legendary campaign with my friends since Halo 2, but Halo 5’s lack of split screen put those traditions on hold the past 4 years.
After most splitscreen modes were stripped out of the PC version of Gears 5, I’m really worried about the PC version of Infinite. Fingers crossed!
TBH no, I don’t really care. As I haven’t played Couch Co-op since 07, and I don’t see myself ever doing it again.
When was the last time you played Couch Co-op.
And looking back on it I always hated spit screen even In Goldeneye. I want the screen for myself.
Lan>split screen.
Back in the days I use to play split screen with a friend and my brother all the time I still have a friend that I play splitcreen with I was upset that it wasn’t in halo 5 guardians I’m really really happy it’s coming back for Halo Infinite so I can play with my friend again on splitscreen😃
4 player splitcreen all ready Confirmed for Halo Infinite they confirmed it around last year Christmas time:smiley:
Halo without splitscreen was like having World of Warcraft without online-play. The lack of splitscreen co-op and custom games completely stripped Halo of its culture. I know too many people who fell off the Halo wagon due to Halo 5 not being playable with friends and family locally. I trust 343i never to make that mistake again.
