I really enjoy watching the current HCS tourneys even though there are only 3 maps in regulation play, it’s just really interesting to see a full team of pros play against another full team of pros and see how they play. I got to thinking, “What will Halo 5 tournaments look like?” I wanna see how professional players use these new abilities in a competitive setting, good strategies for how and when to use them, it’s so exciting! I cannot wait for October!
I enjoying watching them here and there. Mainly just to pick up pro tips and new tactics I might (most likely lol) haven’t been using.
I think if they lower kill times by just a tiny bit it will be a much better experience. Takes a bit more skill, and it’ll be easier to distinguish what’s going on.
Who knows at this point though. It’s not like we’ve seen pro footage of it yet.
I’m just glad Halo is coming back, H2A is nice and all but the 3 or 4 maps get old quick.
I’m honestly getting sick of the multiplayer side of things. I used to like playing online a lot but it’s worn out on me. I realized pretty recently that quieter side of multiplayer, that is, exploring the maps, seeing if I can escape them, taking in the sights, sounds, and overall experience, and best of all: forging (!) is much more enjoyable. IDK I just feel like the online competitive side of Halo and ANY game for that matter is just kinda poisonous for me. The quiet side has pretty much been the Halo multiplayer experience for me the entire time I didn’t have Live (CE till midway through Reach, yes, almost ten years). I feel more at home with it, kinda like I’m revisiting a childhood playground or sandbox. But I’m fine playing custom games with friends! I think if I’m gonna experience multiplayer mayhem, I’d like it to be there, and not online, but I think I’ll still play occasionally, as it is good fun between breaks!

E-Sports will explode come end of October- can’t wait to watch the pros duke it out. Twitch will be hot, too.
