Anyone else ever notice the hit reg difference?

Since day 1 I have felt like I’ve noticed a difference in hit registration between Warzone and Arena. I’ll use the BR as my example. I can’t hit anyone or anything with a BR in warzone. It seems inaccurate. But switch to arena ranked or social and I hit every shot I take. Same with the magnum.

Is this something that’s been known since day 1 or am I just seeing things?

Probably just seeing things. Warzone maps are much bigger, so you will be out of Red Reticle Range more often so you will hit less shots. (red reticle gives you more aim assist and bullet magnetism)
Could be something to do with performance/internet as well? I assume that Warzone maps have a heavier load because they are bigger and more open… but I think the first possibility is more likely.

You’re seeing things. Same hit registration. Only difference is WZ has huge maps and you’re probably firing outside of RRR while arena is obviously smaller maps and most engagements are happening within RRR. Assuming its the same BR, its the same stats across both. You’ll only notice differences in BR variants. Like arena having the halo 5 BR and the halo 2 BR. Significant difference between the 2 and most players generally notice is instantly.

This is a very good observation and I agree, most likely due to the maps being so large, you’re going to be out of red reticle range more often and maybe because of how big the maps are compared to arena things like frame rate and performance will be a bit slower? Not sure though.

I personaly think it as a psychologic effect. Warzone is big so you aim further but arena is CQC and so you take sharp turns. But as in reallife try making turns as tight as possible. Like F1 racers in a sharp turn. Have the high ground.
