Anyone else encountering a ton of lag as of late?

I’ve only encountered it in arena modes, which I find very strange since Warzone used to be far worse, but now it seems perfect (for myself).

Resetting my xbox and router have done nothing, and it seems to just be getting worse over the past few days.
I know I’m not the only one, as everyone I play with has been getting it almost every match.

It started as the occasional match having a few lag spikes here and there, and has only grown worse.

Edit: Guys, I made this thread a month ago. The lag now is believed to be due to some patching being done by 343 (however, what is being patched, if that is the reason, is currently not allowed to be discussed on waypoint).

You guys need to read the post too, not just the title. If you see this then reply with: “Giga-mo-hip!”

I have no problems. Hard reset your Xbox (hold the power down till it turns off and unplug-plug your power to the Xbox.
Is your internet wireless or wired?

Same. Except my game crashes and I get disconnected from XB Live and then reconnect. Very frustrating

Every once in a while when someone leaves.

Within the last day there has been a lot of latency and lag for me, IDK why though.

I have. I’m using wireless (which I know I need to change), but I had 0 lag whatsoever when I first moved a few weeks ago. And I’m not the only one experiencing it.
A whole bunch of the people I play with are getting when they play solo or with friends.

Maybe your internet is different there where you moved and when they play with you they are affected.

It was perfectly fine for weeks though.

Now I don’t know if its lag or what, but here is what I experience a lot. I have 1gig down/34 up, so its not an internet issue.
Super Fiesta:
I have rockets, enemy has rockets. We both shoot at the same time. Both shots at direct hits. I die, they don’t.
Last ditch nade thrown at kill, nade has no effect on enemy.
It just seems like a lot of BS kills vs BS deaths.

This game has been nearly unplayable since the HCS updated playlist, I am experiencing 10 to 20 ghost shots a game

Friday and Saturday were okay. Yesterday and today have been terrible.

yes there is more lag at present. You think with the population dwindling, we would get less lag…

I get it 9-10 games on every mode but hey I’m from Australia our internet sucks our servers suck or don’t exist anymore and our ping is brutal so it’s normal but it has been especially bad of late

I’ve been having lag issues here also since the weekend. Lag issues for me are very rare, but now it’s become way too common. I’m seeing it nearly every game I play, and I’m talking bout serious lag too; the kind were I can just set my controller down and watch the screen to stupid shiiit. Yes I’ve done hard resets, yes I’ve unplugged everything and restarted it all. Hopefully this gets resolved sooner rather than later.
