I’m not buying it until they add push to talk for my Xbox one controller (while playing on PC). Ludicrous theres no setting, I’m not going to stop my character just to press a keyboard key while on a controller.
Also no options to turn off the buddy AI its so annoying just ruins my experience.
Until these options are added its not worth me playing.
Yeah, I’ll wait for more fixes/improvements,
The XP grind is awful, the customization permutations is too limited, weapon balance is not right,
can’t select our gamemodes, that’s dissapointing.
Destiny was in Beta. Look what happened to that at launch? Stop with beta excuse. We are merely weeks away. This isn’t like a beta that was lunched months before or even a year ago…this is mere weeks. You think that’s enough development time to magically fix everything ? Not to mention they had feedback from multiple flights.
I enjoy the game But god almighty there are fundamental things stopping it from it’s potential that NEEDS to be address and not passed around with this lazy “oh it’ll get fixed later” excuse. 343 is a MUCH bigger studio and have experience with Halo (even when it wasn’t good) Cyberpunk was something new at the very least.
Yeah, I’ve been trying to get used to the glacial controller sensitivity, but I’m getting to the point where I can’t keep going back. I’ve played as a flick shooter on max sensitivities for two decades with controller, and this game doesn’t allow me to play like that. Before anyone says it, I’ve already maxed acceleration and input thresholds.
The issue is with the sensitivity setting itself. I’ve checked the time to spin 360 on all sensitivities with all other aim settings maxed, and the difference is imperceptible… On 10, it takes a full second to 360. It also takes a second on 5. Not till sensitivity 1 is there a perceptible slow down to a whopping 1.1 seconds. Clearly, there shouldn’t only be a 10% difference in turn speed between the highest and lowest sensitivity settings.
I imagine this is why there are people also complaining about aiming being too fast for them. We need a greater range of sensitivities than what are currently offered for controller.
If they DONT nerf the MELEE-HIT damage to normal levels like overwatch/apex and they do not create a competitive mode 12vs12 WITHOUT “VEHICLES” pure gunplaybased then yeah maybe after 30 days im leaving. Sadly
Thats debatable. I think Halo 2 is the Super Smash Bros Melee of Halo: a really broken game that the people that play it at the time love it, and have all the right to it. Imagine explaining to the people that complains about sweaty lobbies that, besides the weapon sandbox and maps, there are combos that broke the gameplay and give advantage… they will cry.
Personally I just think they created a bigger skill gap. Okay the super jumps abused the game to some degree but with the BxR and double shot it enhanced it when competing.
Well, we have to call attention to these things. Talk about the weapon balancing, aiming, all that in individual forum threads. We have to hash out exactly what it is they need to change, and then 343 is reading this stuff and hopefully they’ll change it. It’s still a beta. If they treat it like one, this game can be better on launch if they will stay on top of making adjustments. They will be adding a progression system besides the challenges I hear
Personally not enjoying the experience because I was never a good halo player to begin with so the shift in the feel of the multiplayer has made me worse than trash. Couple this with the progression and I just get way too frustrated.
I already preordered the campaign and I will just play that. As for the multiplayer I will just avoid it and play some MCC.
I’ll grind out challenges every week to get my BP done but as soon as that is done I’ll move on to another game. Such a disappointment honestly. And made even worse by these things being some of the primary concerns during the flights and they just lied to us and/or didn’t so anything. It’s actually kind of funny.
