Oh trust me, I have messed with my settings, I’ve tried so many suggested settings and messed with them myself, nothing comes close to feeling as good as the previous games,

I sincerely hope you are right about this, they are already making great changes and if they continue along this path I think this game will have a lot of longevity, but they have a long way to come. A lot of the changes they are going to need to start making to polish up the user experience are things that might start to interfere with their monetization scheme and technical/ui challenges. Things like hit reg, artifical customization limitations, ranked queue, settings/menu layout, region select, and gamemode select are all rather substantial issues that I am unsure if they will commit to improving. But I certainly hope you are right and we start to see these changes roll in in the coming weeks/months.

Yes, couldn’t agree more. This doesn’t feel like classic Halo at all,… And I’ve played Halo for 13+ years. I hope they are gonna adress the things you mention.
they need to fix the radar too, have it like the old halos

Yeah if we had forge right now that’s all I’d be doing, I’m extremely disappointed it’s not coming for almost a year. Every Halo game in the past I usually jump on, play a couple matchmaking games, then go right to forge and spend hours making the perfect map (especially in Halo 5).

How do you even check your stats for infinite? The old waypoint was much more intuitive. Even the in game stats feel difficult to see season stats. I can’t seem to figure it out

I am really enjoying the multiplayer…After some intense ranked, BTB or quick games…I slide over to the bot arena to just chill!
I’m totally aware of that! But the game is unsatisfying to me without progression, which is both too slow and not rewarding enough. I personally would have preferred for the game to just release as Halo traditionally has, with a complete package that includes multiplayer… splitting MP from campaign and then not lowering the price of the campaign is blatantly greedy from my perspective. While the live service aspect of the game sounds appealing due to the ongoing addition of content, it just makes for an unsatisfying experience for me. I loved the progression in Reach, where I simply bought the game and that got me everything, now they must nickel and dime us for every single piece of armor. Even if I bought the battle-pass, I don’t feel that I would have as many options as I did in Reach.
I’m sad to see Halo, and the video game industry as a whole, going in this predatory direction. I really wish they would just make the best game they could, and design the experience around what is best for the player and what is the most true to the canon rather than what can make them the most money. Just my two cents!

LOL no… Why i feel likle all these post of “Balance is bad” is people that wants Halo to become other game.
I hate the progression system and it really needs a rework, im not wasting money on anything on the store until they fix it… BUT i found myself playing not to unlock the Battlepass but because Im having fun. And the matchmaking is really good, you are not getting dominated by people that have been playing the game since 2007 like in MCC

Clearly it’s not “just him”. As a majority of people are saying they are dropping the game… And the oh well more game for me mentality that you are mostly going to have about it is what kills games off and servers shut down shortly after.
I would agree with the BTB stuff but…. I am loving this game so much……

I obviously think the progression needs a total overhaul but I don’t think the game I bad enough to just quit rn.
My only other big gripe is that the Chopper feels extremely underpowered and the new plasma rifle feels useless.
The chopper was never powerful, but it could ram vehicles to make up for the lack of damage.

The game is enjoyable, it just sucks that there is no progression system other than the battle pass so to achieve anything you have to complete oddly & annoyingly specific challenges which force you to play different to how’d you prefer to play.
I don’t see myself dropping the game right now but I’d like to see changes as soon as possible.
