Anyone else dislike Promethean vision in MM

i don’t care about it being in campaign but in matchmaking it just looks completely overpowered and will change the dynamics of the game.

like when i played halo 3 and i was running round the corner on The Pit i sometimes could beat the person around the corner waiting for me because he didn’t know exactly when i was running round the corner in halo 4 it would just be a simple grenade for me to run on and ill be dead.

i dislike the idea of knowing where your enemy is without him being in your line of sight.

Hey, how come people are allowed to complain about Armour Lock and Promethean vision being overpowered (even though they haven’t played the game and don’t know how it fully functions) yet when I complain about overpowered precision weapons like the BR or DMR I’m told to sit down and shut up?

Well I know how Promethean visions works because I have watched the videos where it has been described how it functions and being able to see your enemy through a wall takes away the fact that the person with the fastest reaction time/reflexes would get the first shot off.

Nah man i think ur just a noobie who always complain, i think the hardlight shield is gonna ruin the game.
if u want proof look at a game called: Blacklight: Tango Down, u will see how awsome it is to kill campers with that vision.
Halo needs this to get back there fans else it will die out like halo reach.
srry but majority will win, and this are people who actually try to learn trough out a game and not sit all day in a corner with an AR, wich ruins the game even

Promethean vision is so Overpowered it’s embassrasing.

I want a game with an even playing field to show a true test of skill because if were all on the same level as each other the victor will be the better player not the person who uses a ability that allows him to see where his enemy is through a wall

if you watch those GameSpot videos of the pros playing i think all the pros used Promethean vision the entire time i recall BesT MaN saying Elamite only used Promethean vision and they themselves deemed it overpowered

Hey, sit down and shut up!

Naw, I’m just kidding. I agree with the DMR/BR being overpowered compared to other [mainly automatic] weapons. That’s why I’m pro-bloom.

pro bloom i think i threw up a little in my mouth as i read that.

BR is heavily undpowered compared to the DMR and Carbine look at the kill times… Halo 4 is basically going to be a two gun game DMR or Carbine… anthing else your putting yourself at a disadavantage.

There is more than one way to make a weapon weak rather than adding bloom, which is flawed on every single level.

The Xray vision in that game… broke the muliplayer. PV is overpowered, unfair, unbalanced and trumps every other AA in the game therefore everyone is going to use it breaking the concept of loadout in the process.

The BR is undpowered…
DMR and Carbine are too strong yes I agree with you there…

The AR, Storm Rifle and BR all need a buff.

lol at calling precision weapons OP.
ESPECIALLY the BR, which is known to have a half second slower kill time.
although i GUESS the carbine and DMR could go with a slightly slower kill time and the BR a slightly higher.

Haven’t we all… which is where I’d come in to say its like radar, but 3d-ified and put on your face. People will argue against me, but that’s the fact.

If you cannot accept that, move along and out.

i think Xray vision needs to be taken out of competitive games such as Team Slayer and i’m guessing it wont be in MLG

Lol you’re told this because you have no idea what you are talking about.

well if i crouch and walk round a corner i wont show up on radar but i will in Promethean vision

It’s a sort of a legit wallhack…

343 is trying to appeal to call of duty hackers with PV. yup.

Well, for one, the precision weapons are in no way overpowered. Everything else around it is just too weak.
In past games, power weapons were perfectly balanced with the precision weapons. If we split each group of weapons 3 piles, 2 out of the 3 piles work together. It is only the automatic weapons that are pointless. We shouldn’t nerf the BR because you can’t use it, we should buff the AR while adding a higher skill gap to it so the automatic weapons themselves don’t become OP themselves.

With things like Promethean Vision, it is literally better than any ability. It gives you situational awareness at the touch of a button. It is a single ability vs everything else, as opposed to 2 weapon classes vs a single class. The same can be said about Armor Lock. Both abilities provide too many advantages that vastly outweigh the disadvantages.

That is why we are allowed to complain about Armor Lock and Promethean Vision, while you are not allowed to complain about the BR.

I think when you get a chance to play test it you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
