Like 20 dollars for something that in an earlier halo we coudl have earned, on top of that a progression system that rewards playing badly over having fun.
Yeah I am sticking to bot bootcamp and BTB, crew this progression system.

Will still progress playing bot boot camp albeit progress will be slow! If you complete the odd challenge in BTB youāll be there before you know it.
Iām looking forward to unlocking the superintendent AI.
I have already given up on the progression system once already and now again. Tried to play till I noticed the premium battle pass and I despised it then I tried to go back when the āfree limitedā event started and I still hated it. I donāt feel like 343i are encouraging me to play in the long term. Played Halo day to day with modern and classic Halo but this is 1st Halo at launch where I feel like Iāve had enough. And to add to insult I just found out my ādoubleā exp code does not work in the UK. 
The greed system has personally for me has hurt everything that I enjoy about the progression system in modern Halo games and has killed any interest in the pvp side. Iām more likely to try again when campaign launchās but for now Iām just feeling like giving up since I donāt feel like 343i care enough to make major changes.

Yup 343 despite all they have said have made such a un-fun and un-rewarding progression system. I still donāt understand how weāve gone from MCC to infinite challenge and xp system, no insentive to try and win or help my team at all. Why should I save my ally? When Iāve got a challenge to avenge their death instead?

Iāve decided that I wonāt be buying the BP in this format and as such I donāt care about progressing up the levels or trying to attain cosmetics. Iāll play for fun and for fun onlyā¦Iām not buying into this monetised -Yoink!- in its current format. This is probably the worst implementation of a BP and cosmetics that Iāve seen in any game that Iāve played.

I know people like to hate on destiny 2 but itās season pass is both fun and rewarding and you actually feel like you get rewarded for playing the game. Bungie are so confident in their system they donāt even let you buy tiers because itās truly is āplayer firstā (minus Fomo)
Know what you mean. Played countless hours in MCC and had tons of fun while with Infinite itās like they took all the feedback from MCC with all the praise then went in the opposite direction with Infinite and made it as worse as they could possibly imagine. Some scary part of me thinks they thought they were doing good but the majority of people seem to hate what 343i have done. It feels like 343i hired someone to self-sabotage their own project.
The thing is everyone says they did it because of greed but the ironic part is if they keep pulling stunts like this they may end up killing the game and end up with less money coming in. Itās like right now I canāt recommend the multiplayer to anyone because of the state itās in. Itās like I used to complain about Destiny 2 being predatory and say at least 343i arenāt as bad as Bungie but now I feel like they maybe just as bad.

Me, Iām literally putting no effort into it. Itās a bs system to try and get people to spend money. Just make the game $60 next time to be able to play anything.

I spend 60 dollars on this game, and now I know most of it was a waste for MP. hope the campaign is at least worth 60 dollars.

Game was fun at first, but I have pretty much stopped playing already. The gun balancing is an absolute joke and the map quantity is abysmal. The battlepass alone is enough to stop me from playing, but the glaring gameplay issues have just expanded on that.

Yep, no battle pass for me in the future unless they really fix this by then.
and even so, Iām more of a campaign player, so Iāll disappear from mp by
Dec 8th. Donāt get me wrong I really enjoy this mp, especially btb. but I
wonāt play it as frequently. Hate they are delaying co-op and forge even
longer than I thought they would.
In other words I enjoyed the Aperitif (flight time), still savoring the
Entree (beta), but in reality Iām just waiting for the Main Course to
arrive (campaign). the extra stuff can wait.
At this point, Iām just saving my double XPās for when the progression is more improved. Using them right now honestly feels like a waste.
I hope they gut and replace the XP system, it is ruining the game.

I havenāt given up on it, but Iām certainly not focused on it, never have been. Maybe thatās why I havenāt been as grumpy as so many on the forumsā¦

I am getting to teh point of suicidal trying ot do the challanges just to progress.
343 -Yoink!- lied, and now we have to deal with something that for those of us who are average is literally impossible just to play.
-Yoink!- this, -Yoink!- 343, I am done.
I canāt aim, I am only good at vehicles, game keeps giving me challanges for BR, stalker rifle, and long range saving stuff that requires persision weapons. My choice is play a way I canāt or spend 20 dollars just to swap them out.
