It’s weird, either I have bad team mates or I get put with platinums when I am only at a gold 5 level…or at least I was until today until this crap batch of random matches arena bestowed upon me. just wondering if anyone is is embracing the suck right now?
Define bad teammates, please. I mean, a lot of diamond/Onyx players consider lower ranks to be “bad players”. To me, it sounds like you are going on tilt and are unable to carry your lower rank teammates and can’t keep up with slightly higher rank teammates. When in a 5-6 rank of your division, the game will begins to put you into teams according to the direction you are heading. It only takes 3 or 4 wins in a row to rank up, so what are you gonna do when you win 7 in a row and get put into a rank you clearly don’t belong in yet? Next thing you know, plat+ players will be upset that they get you on their team. The game is trying its best to keep you in the division you belong in, which means your gonna lose a lot when you start getting closer to a rank too high for your skill level. Just focus on getting better. When you can handle playing against better players, you will notice a change in win/lose streaks and the people you get matched with
Oddly enough, this has been happening to me lately as well. I played all day yetsterday, and lost 19 of my 20 last games. It was frustrating as hell. My teammates were more or less around my skill level, but my enemies were pretty superior in every case. I wonder if the devs tweaked something in the matching system that broke it at some levels?

ever since the csr curve i decided to just solo and do my best on team based gametypes but ive been doing great on ffa as always besides starting a tier below, but i am coming really close to being the same tier and division. I was plat 6 last season now im at plat 4 still will probably play more tonight and hopefully go up more or ive reached my peak

The highest I have ever gotten to was gold 6. point being if I get put in say gold 3, I really shouldn’t be going against a team with platinum 1 & 2’s shooting up the joint.

good point i feel like the people im getting ranked up with the last few matches are mid diamond last season even if they are not yet ranked this season that may be the reason i am getting such a insane percentage boost for each tier level i am playing even when i get 3rd on ffa at times i go up 50 percent. I am loving the challenge. I think practicing headshots on swat paid off. Good luck mate.
I’m playing my placement matches and it’s putting me with and against gold players after being platinum last season. My last 2 games I went 17-10 (only person to go positive on my team so we lost) then I went 29 with a 2.4 kd I think and we still lost. Talk about a bad team
