When in a Multiplayer lobby, it doesn’t show if you’re red or blue team until 3 seconds before you spawn. I think its crucial to a team’s strategy to know what side you’ll be spawning on certain maps. ( in lobby theres enough time to discuss role’s and routes.) Just my thought.
It’s different but I don’t think it matters.
I think almost everyone dislikes the lobby in its current state. The game would benefit a lot if it had a lobby similar to Reach’s or really any other Halo for that matter

Yeah I miss the lobbies too. It hurts me to say that I would be happy with Halo 4’s lobby.

In almost every aspect, the Halo 5 lobby needs to be improved. Seeing gamertags, looking at playercards with your spartan info on it would be great, a la the past Halo games. If there’s anything I miss from the old Halos, one of them would be the lobbys.
This is being worked on. 343 is working on redoing the UI which should include lobbies as well. I believe they have it slated to come out in the December update.

Saddest most retarded things about current lobby system is you can’t even talk with the people in your lobby unless you are in a private party chat. So. Stupid.
Yeah, it’s a bummer. Not a big deal, but still. I’m more upset at the lack of a way to see what your friends are doing and who they’re playing with, like what we had in a game that came out in 2007, and then again in 2010. 343 has the mechanics down, but I don’t know if I can forgive one more game stripping away features and functionality once thought to be a given long ago.
