Since Warzone Turbo ended I thought that I would be able to find Warzone Assault matches, but I tried to find a match today at around 2:30 pm (AEST) and it eventually after 8 mins, it kicked me off the playlist and said there weren’t enough players. I heard and thought that 343 had removed region lock, so I was under the impression that I would finally be able to find a match, but I guess not. This is ridiculous 343 when you say that you’ve removed it that means you’ve removed it. Unless it hasn’t hit Melbourne yet, otherwise please have it come here then.

343 hasn’t removed region lock in Australia yet. Such a shame, because I can barely play this game in the state that the Au population at the moment.

I haven’t played Warzone Assault since release. People always say it’s player base but I highly doubt it, Halo has a very active community all over the world.

WTF?! 343 removes region lock for EU, which was still able to play (for the most part) and DOESN’T remove it for AUS?!

IKR. Australia obviously has far worse playlist population conditions than EU and then they decide to lift region lock only in EU. If you look in this thread, most people commenting about not being able to find games are Australian. Such a huge slap in the face.
After catching up on the comments on this post. So many fellow Australians still not able to find games on halo 5. It’ll get to the point where regular warzone won’t even be playable. People in Melbourne, west australia, south. Can’t find anything. I try everyday to find a warzone assault but no luck.
I’m Austrailian and spent about ages yesterday trying to look for an assault game and couldn’t I’ve also found it impossible to find a FFA or Breakout game as well

I just tried today and still couldn’t find one
I really do wish they take off region lock for AUS, like take Halo 3 for example, the game had really good net coding and the only lag you would notice between AUS and US players is when it came to beat downs and long distance shooting. Small negatives but it’s better than not playing at all. Now playing against Europeans players, that’s a different story.

It seems 343 took region lock off for Europeans but not Australia. Its annoying cause it seems Europeans want region lock back on. Clearly us Australians want it off asap and 343 should take it off already. Your right about that difference between AUS and US players but it really is better than not being able to play at all. We could find games easily on halo 3, halo reach and even halo 4. But halo 5 is a no go.

I haven’t once found a WARZONE assault match.
But I definitely don’t want region lock removed, lag and drop outs are way to common as it is.

People have been saying that they haven’t removed it in Australia yet. My question is, why wasn’t Australia one of the first for it to be removed? Its not like America has troubles finding matches. For us it has to be at certain times for even the most popular gamemodes.
