Anyone as bad as me?

Im level 44 but still can’t aim for the life of me (literally!) as I always get smoked by an opposing team member. Then in the next warzone game, when I feel confident enough to use a good legendary weapon without having my -Yoink- handed to me on a nice decorated China plate by some guy in a scorpion, I get oneshotted within like a minute of me choosing the thing!

I’m intending for this to sound funny and relatable rather than overly but-hurt, but I hope you get the picture. Or maybe I’m just a terrible halo player haha, I dunno.

Dont get me wrong, I love this game, and the req system is awesome and unique, but sometimes I just don’t feel up to scratch I guess. I think the most Spartan kills I’ve got in a warzone game are only about 17. I’m only a casual gamer really, and I haven’t had an Xbox One for that long, so it’s possible I may just be overshadowed by you professionals out there!

But does anyone else feel the same way, or am I just sh*t? Or have you got some friendly advice that I would gladly here?

Kind regards!

Practice, I’m level 90 something and it’s only the last 10 levels or so that I’ve frequently been killing more Spartans than being killed

If you feel like you’re dying too often and dying before you get a chance to use good REQs, you probably want to change your play style. Play more defensively, don’t go out into hot zones, stick with other people on your team. When spawning powerful REQs, spawn them in the safest place you can (like Home Base), and then continue to play defensively. You should also consider rolling with a team who you can communicate with and call on for support.

Im worse. Level 90 something, hand me the h5 sniper, I’ll miss every shot.

Yep I suck at warzone also getting better in Arena but it didn’t start clicking until level 100, I managed a k/D of 2.2 in slayer this month but when I first started was 0.76 or likely lower just kept playing alot you’ll get better for sure.

Matchmake on focused aswell will take longer but hopefully match you with player near your skill.

I could be worse then you if you want?

Whats fun to do is play halo 5 for awhile then head onto halo 4. I dont think ive ever done that bad ever.

If you could go back in time and see anyone here play Halo for the first time, you would see that everyone sucked at Halo when they first played it. Some people learn the ins and outs of the game faster than others, but the point is that an expert in anything always started off as a beginner. Keep playing Halo, and you’ll gradually get better even if you don’t realize it.

I am absolutely terrible on a 1v1. I just recently got better because I figured out how to not miss with a BR. And that is don’t aim with it. Since adding the new aim to halo I used it all the time. My problem was going into and out of aim when I was being shot at. Found out it’s jest like old halo in the way you can hit things without aiming. I’m so stupid.

With a lot of practice, it will come.

This should cheer you up.

Lol that was hilarious. I hit like.
I’ll have to look around the x dvr for something to send you, im sure ive got something

No clue what my rank is, no idea what my K/D is, but Im sure its below 1.0
I never pick up a power weapon, unless you count the Hydra as one. If I do pick it up, just to keep it away from the enemy team.
Think the only arena matches I do good at is Sniper and Swat. Maybe BTB when its CTF. Warzone I believe I get up to 10 kills but with 20 deaths :stuck_out_tongue:
But I’m having fun still.

I seen a lot of people saying “Practice makes perfect” which I find half true. Even if you practice and become “good” it all depends on your own team to help pull the weight, which everyone seems to forget, and is the main problem for most matches. It not just you, it everyone isn’t a team player.

Yes still trying to get better with my aim. I’ve been playing around with controller settings but my 1v1 suck!!! Lol

I always lose pistol to br battles or br to pistol battles. My aim sucks at close range. I’m not bad at med range.

Custom games will get you all the practice you need. If your friends don’t want to play custom games just spawn all the weapons and vehicles and test them out. Discover the strengths and the weaknesses of the weapons of the weapons. That’s my secret.

Don’t worry. I got my xbox on Christmas and it was my first time playing a fps at all. I’m rank 50 but I’m still horrible.

Right there with you. Felt like every time I pulled a req (when i played) some one was shoulder charging me on spawn or Banshee bomb out of nowhere.

Some people can pick you off with a Headshot whilst you are right in the middle of a Ground Pound from across the map in a nano second.

On the other hand others (like me) would struggle to hit Tankmaster Rok from point blank with a Rocket Launcher.

Here is the reason why you shouldn’t give up.

I’m an okay Halo player, nothing special but solid. However, for some reason, I feel like I’m the worst Warzone player in Halo history. Not sure if I consistently go against teams or just suck, but I nearly always scoreboard very very low (unlike other modes, generally speaking).
