the flood are in? I mean thank god they aren’t in campaign, but they’ve been in almost every halo game. Honestly before there was much info about the game, I was dreading whether the flood would be in or not.
I’m happy. I just wish their abilities were more fleshed out rather than a reskinned sword wielder.
Better than having some infected Spartans running around

Thank god they’re in. I’ve been wanting Flood in Infection for soooo long now
I loved fighting The Flood in Halo 3 and CEA the most (Probably because of the updated graphics?). I just love fighting The Flood and I’m happy to see them come back, but in a completely new way, a way in which I’ve wanted them to come back like for years.

I’m just looking at some pictures right now, haven’t actually read anything but what gametypes are they in?

Only in the new Flood mode which replaces infection.

A new gametype called Flood
2 infected players vs. 10 normal players.

Oh cool, that’s ****ing awesome.
Happy is a complete understatement.
I’ve wanted Flood Combat Form when infected in Infection since the days of Halo 3, and now that’s a reality! It’s the #1 thing I’m excited about in Halo 4.
I cannot express my happiness in words. The only thing I can really do is Thank 343i, and play the Yoink! out of Flood Mode.

Since Halo 3 I’ve known that people have wanted the infected in infection to actually be scary. And also I’ve seen many threads from back in the Halo 3 days of actually playing as flood. So, glad that this is in there.
This is probably asking for too much, but does anybody else think it would be cool to have flood infection forms roaming the map to encourage the humans to move around instead of camping in one spot? Eventually they’d just pile up, forcing them to move out of their spot.

Exactly the same here.
I just hope they don’t ruin the gametype by keeping flood thrusters and camo. Flood should just have Promethean Vision.
Will there be normal infection mode? for other gametypes that just uses infection as a template?
> This was my face when I first heard it
LOL!! YES!!

I don’t have a problem with those. I believe they add variety and more fairer gameplay for the Flood.
The problem I have it that the Humans get a mini DMR, just like in Reach. Get rid of the Magnum and replace it with the Boltshot, and Flood Mode will be just as great when it was in Halo 3, but much better. Though getting rid of Active Camo for the Humans would also help fasten gameplay.
