The showcase was a nice one to put on television after a hype reveal but it didn’t give me that ‘awe’ type of sensation; I wish it followed after something more hyped. It seems like most attention was paid to the gameplay but aside from Halo 3 drop abilities and the grappling hook, what changed from Halo 5? Other than the lack of thrusters, I couldn’t really spot a difference from previous games to get excited.
I wish there was more focus on how the campaign is open-world and a more terrifying reveal of how humanity lost than the Brute just telling us. The reveal looked just nice but not jaw-dropping to me. Anybody else feel the same?
Was there anything that you specifically felt chills from? I honestly want to see if I’m missing something here.
I feel you completely man. They gave us something but at the same time gave us nothing! I also think it was how the event was set up, usually we have someone come on stage and introduce the next big halo for us. If they have showed us maybe a tease for the Halo TV show I would have been satisfied. I am underwhelmed from that trailer but still insanely hyped for Infinite.

I’m still hyped but I was honestly expecting some kind of Avengers level trailer. I’m still positive they can pull through eventually though.

that and the graphics. I don’t mean make it look super realistic. Halo is never known for the graphics but rather a beautiful art style. 343 has shown us in Halo 4 they can make some breath taking scenery, I’m confused to what happened here.

For sure I don’t quite get why everything looks so clean vs. a darker, gritty atmosphere. Luckily since character models are usually just distributed, they can make quick changes
