Anybody want Brutes Back just for the Hammer?

I will be rather upset if 343 does not decide to implement the Gravity Hammer into the Halo 4 sandbox, but unfortunately that would mean bringing brutes back, who, in all honesty, weren’t that fun to fight, but I would happily put those big apes down the sights of my BR85 just so the Hammer could make a return.

hey, it would keep the griffballers happy, and anyway brutes aren’t that bad
I mean even if they aren’t fun to fight, look on the bright side, they are big and cuddly.

Grifball will be back anyway.

If I wanted brutes to be back for any reason it would be the chopper, loved that vehicle.

Well bs angel confirmed Grifball would be playable at a Panel at PAX, so I would be surprised if the Brutes didn’t return with hammers.

Just because the brutes might not return in the campaign, doesn’t mean they can’t include their weapons and vehicles in multiplayer.

Remember, the multiplayer is set on the Infinity, and they would have all known weapons, vehicles and other ordnance available to train with.

Yes I agree, I think 343i will bring back a wide range of weapons and vehicles from previous halo titles into halo 4. Just cause their not in the campaign is no reason not to bring them into a simulated training exercise.

Chopper <3

Oh yes, I love the chopper too. It is my favourite ground vehicle.

I am not so sure that the Brutes will return, however. They are at conflict with the Elites. We saw the Elites in Multiplayer and Campaign. I don’t think they are gonna fight along the Elites there.

This.

Spitting dirt as that gnarly bladed wheel chewed through the environment. Awesome. Felt good to drive.

Agreed.

And you think they can’t bring back a weapon without the faction responsible for it?

The Hammer might not be in Campaign, but there is no reason why 343i couldn’t make it just for Matchmaking.

Also: Brutes shouldn’t be that bad. If only 343i would make them more like in the books unlike Bungie did.
Brutes in the books tower over Spartans and Elites, attack their own troops if they stand in their way, are truely brutal (rip apart enemies, throw them around etc) and are almost invincible.
If only they would become more like that, they would be so much more fun to fight.

Oh, Hammers will be in Halo 4, but no Brutes fortenately, hated them to be honest.

only if they keep their halo wars look

Ahhh, Brutes and their Hammers. . .
