Anybody getting these awesome items from the HCR Req Packs? I managed to get the magnum skin yesterday and I was wondering if it’s still possible to get more or if it’s an unintended glitch that’s been patched.
It was indeed an unintended glitch.
I have purchased and opened 16 HCS packs and have not gotten any 343 items. I’ve heard from other people who have previously unlocked everything, and they are only getting five 1000 REQ cards. Thus, it can be concluded that they are indeed removed.
I’m very bummed.

Some players including GreenSkull were able to unlock exclusive items that were not intended to be unlocked like:
343 Assault Rifle Skin
343 Magnum Skin

But as he mentioned on the video as well he was told it is a glitch, I have tweeted some 343 people and such to see if there is any info on if the skins will stay with those lucky players or if they will offer refunds or just swap the Mythic items for other mythics.

I hope they make some -Yoink!- elusive skins for those people who unlocked them, but then after like a month give them to the rest of us.

They better revoke them or make them publicly available. Because this is completely bogus. I didn’t mind spending another $10+ to get the skins, but getting 5k REQ for having all the other items while some people slip through the cracks and get them on a whim is complete garbage. I’ll dispute the charges on my credit card if I have to. Salty as -Yoink- right now.

I’m thinking revoking the charges to your credit card could be considered fraud, first they did not ever say those skins would be available, if anything they said the skins were only for 343I employees, second, you decided to buy the packs willingly no one forced you to buy them nor did they advertise this skins as to sway you into buying them, and if you only got REQ point cards because you already owned everything then you got what people have been getting with all packs once they complete everything.
So in the end you did get what you paid for, which were 5 rare to ultra rare items, they just were not the items you wanted, so since you already got your items if you revoke the charge it would be basically stealing.

Where did they say they were 343i only? Like officially where is it printed? Not a non 343i affiliate claiming “someone” told them, official documentation.
I didn’t get 5 items I didn’t want, I didn’t get any items at all.

If you look at their Live stream which is an official source of information from 343I you would see they mention clearly that this are 343I exclusive skins only meant for employees, so yes the info is there which comes directly from 343I, it does not have to be printed it is documented in their live stream.
You did not get any items at all because you already own all the items from the rare to mythic tier or are close to having them all.

That’s getting off course there though, so don’t go digging for it unless you have it handy. Point is, if that’s the stance they want to take, then they need to revoke the skins. Because they are giving players access to content and denying it to others, both of which have paid the same amount. It’s unethical and unlawful.

Sure livestream, look at minute 28:00 then they clearly say “The 343 AR is a 343I employee only skin”
And as i said I have twitted and also posted on the help forums to see what will be the fate of those skins.
They can always whip up another “14 day - Buy and Play” program like they did for the Crimson Map Pack in Halo 4.
Let people have the skins “for a limited time” and then replace them with other unlocks. Won’t be a popular move, but it might keep them out of the legal weeds.
