…that you actually end up deciding you’re going to buy it anyway?
At first when I found out about everything I decided 343 was dead to me, and I expressed, somewhat, my distaste. But there’s so much conflict going around on what is and what -isn’t- true about the game an what it contains be it multiplayer or single player I don’t even know WHO to believe.
Game Informer gives me a pretty detailed list of things and albeit, I’m mad about changes that it’s spinning the word enough to get me interested. Then I think back on what I learned HERE on the web through updates through interviews, comments by Frankie, etc that I’ve given up and said “Know what? I’m going to buy Halo 4, because in the end if I end up hating it I’ll at least have lived through the experience and know why I won’t support 343 in the future and wouldn’t have missed anything. I THEN would have finally gotten the truth on this game.”
Of course I could always wait for reviews from critics and users but again, those tend to spun just a tad in favor or against depending on where you go so…throws up arms in surrender.
Depends on a lot of things. If the “classic” playlist(s) don’t offer a true halo feel with balance being the number one priority. If there isn’t a good ranking system. I’ll probably pass the game up or rent it first.
Among many other things, those are just the two most important in my head atm.
No dual wielding, no FF, no elites in MP, etc it just doesnt feel like its improving but devoling just to take short cuts so they dont have to improve anything. they could eaisly take the code for the dual wielding from halo 3 and implement it and work fine but they are using reach engine and want to leave it as that and not take the time to do it. if thats how they are going to behave then we can see threatre mode taken out. Excuse from fanboys: Well alot of people dont use it the right way so we should just remove it. If we are to beat our competitors we have to stop devolving the games fun factors

No, its like we’ve tasted milk chocolate before and hate it. But someone said that hersheys milk chocolate is delicious and we should try it before judging it.
