343 has yet to deliver. Bungie took a big ol -Yoink- in our mouths with HR, so I’m still a little skeptic here.
I’ve kept up with the news for a few months now, and it still doesn’t appeal to me. Most of the armor looks thrown together, cluttered and just plain unnecessary. I’ve seen nothing new from MP or spartan Ops, it seems like a bunch of recycled crap from games I’ve already played.
I thought Halo was supposed to be unique?
Even HR had some nice original touches to it. With each new installment of the series came something that we’ve never seen before, or a complete reimagining of an old game mechanic.
If halo 4 doesn’t bring anything new to the table then I don’t know how bright this November is looking.
Heck! If it’s as bad as it looks I might even go to the elections! lol
Edit: Reach isn’t really as bad as I say, i still play it and all but it’s just not that good.
Well its only 5 bucks to preorder… and its part of the payment. Unless you are in a coma and can’t get to the store, there’s no reason not to. Though if you are in a coma, you probably have bigger worries.

I know everyone has the right to their own opinion, but this is just a lie.

Even if I don’t preorder I can still get the bonuses. Spokane always overstocks on preorder copies so I can get them right off the shelf for normal price.
Well I’ve pre-ordered my copy of the Limited Edition version of Halo 4, completely paid for. So I think this thread isn’t meant for me
I’m a bit surprised though, considering;
Master Chief is back
New adventures
Spartan Ops will be delivery 5 new missions each week to bridge the gap between the end of Halo 4’s campaign, and the beginning of Halo 5.
That alone completely sold me.
I guess it’s more of the fact that it’s new life being brought to the Halo franchise thanks to 343i. I’ve been a fan of the franchise for a very long time, the chance to experience a new adventure, a new enemy, is impossible to pass up.
In Halo 4 it finally feels like you’re a true spartan again.
I don’t see why you wouldn’t pre-order the game if you like Halo. There’s no reason not to do it when you get pre-order bonuses and all.
I am sorry, but this games looks to me like it will be the FPS of the year. I could be wrong of course but hearing what every one has been saying about this game after they play it has been really inspiring. People standing in line for 2 hours for a 12 min match then going right back in line to do it again. That has to say something about the game.
I am looking forward to Spartan OPs, I don’t know of any game out there that has done anything like that.

And aside from a couple of minor issues they were correct imo.

I have already preordered,
I’ve been playing halo for most of my life, I’m not going to stop now unless somehow my thumbs get cut off by a alien invasion and im 80 yrs old… nah i’ll just build cyborg thumbs and keep playing my -Yoink- off and if the aliens turn off the power to my house, they’d better watch out or i’ll go all commando on their -Yoinks!-. =P
He has a point, Each Halo game brought somthing new. Halo 2 introduced Dual Wielding and trading weapons with allies, Halo Reach introduced Armour Abilities and Assasinations. What big radical new features is Halo 4 bringing? (New weapons and vehicles don’t count)(The new loadout system and ordenance drops dont count either) From the looks of it… Nothing… Halo 4 seriously lacks innovation.

The ability to choose your own spawn weapon and ordinance drops don’t count? Those ARE NEW FEATURES. What about Spartan Ops, that doesn’t count either? No game has ever done something like Spartan Ops before. Specializations are a completely new feature too.

> The fact is, 343 isn’t Bungie, and that ALONE gives me reason to give them a chance.
I want to say when they took over Reach that they at least TRIED to satisfy a lot of the people complaining. They succeeded with some and the rest seemed too stubborn.
