ANybody know the location of the activation index?

does anybody know the location of the activation index that can be scaned? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In the Library at the beginning. In that circular room. Its in the middle floating.

thats what i thought but i have played this level several times now and can not find it. i go into scan mode right at the end of the level and i can not see the index. could you be more specific please? thanks for the help

Sorry I meant the beginning of the level.
When you first start there is that circular room to the right that you can enter.
Go to the edge and scan the key.
