Anybody having connection issues with multiplayer?

Will connect to the game but will randomly have lag spikes that will cause people to walk into walls/I’ll have delayed shots (Not registering)/and after the 2nd 3rd walking into walls I’ll disconnect from the game.

My router meets ALL the requirements and will work with anything except Halo 5’s multiplayer…

Anybody else encountering this issue or have a solution??

Where are you living? They recently disabled region lock, allowing players from around the globe to connect to each other (good for those with overseas friends, horrible for the majority of gamers who are now stuck with laggy games)

I live in America (New York/Long Island)

makes sense now why im dropping out alot more. hope i dont get banned for that crap

Nah I don’t think you get banned for dropping out because I’ve dropped out a LOT of times trying to see if I fixed this and I haven’t gotten banned for it thankfully.

No issues here…

Lucky haha…

everyone outside of the US

Well I live in the US so…

ughhhh need fixes anything…

What seems to be happening more and more with my connection is, I’ll play a match through to the end, only to get dropped right as the match finishes, leaving me rewardless. That’s somewhat annoying

Yeah that’s gotta be annoying.

Yes. For the past few nights I have had the same. Us east coast

They removed regional restrictions effectivelt ruining the game experience for all nonUS players especislly Australians who were enjoying the game perfectly before the update.

The majority of australian gamers prefer good connection over this bs.

Day 2 the server was iffy but fine since.
Try resetting your modem AND your router…unless you have a combo unit.
Make sure your NAT is open.
Go to speedtest.net and make sure you got at least 45-47 maps down, and preferably up (though up can be less).
Make sure xbox takes priority off your router (see manafacturer instructions on how to do so).
If you are wireless, go hard wire instead.
Make sure all connections are tight and wires are in good condition.
Call your is to report the issues so they can further troubleshoot connection issues on your end.
Until you have done ALL of this, you will be accused of having bad Internet. Once confirmed all is ok, you may want to report server issue in your area. I know all this because it has happened to me, and these are the steps you need to take before anyone will take you seriously. Also check xbox.com for Info on server issues.
