Anybody else depressed with infection?

Really. ARs and power weapons. This is not infection. This is not halo. You disappointed me and many other people 343. Today is a sad day.

My friends and I just played a custom game that mimicked Halo Reach mechanics (with pistol starts). It was -Yoinking!- terrible. Halo 5’s infection is very fun and balanced. Even with power weapons available it’s extremely difficult to last a long time.

I got to watch while my kid played it. looks pretty fun

I’m playing it now. I’m going to give it one more go, but I’m guessing it’ll be the last match of infection I play till it gets fixed.

It’s pretty good. I like the new changes.

Infection has always been more than just Shottys and Magnums.

I think you need to take off your nostalgia googles to enjoy it.

Nope , im actually pretty happy. Except with the whole vehicle situation that 343 somehow left out.

Define ‘always’… Because it certainly wasn’t in it’s original custom game.

This is so much fun. The best since Halo 3 infection.

Well, to start, Halo 3 Infection’s base mode wasn’t shotguns and magnums. Dozens of Infection modes involve more than just those two weapons. Halo 2, due to its limitations and non-official status, had just Magnums, if I recall correctly from the few games I played.

Na this is as good as infection could possibly be in Halo 5. Halo 5 is known to successfully change things with having its own unique feel and infection is no different. the 343 team know how to balance gamemodes, maps and guns more than many other companies, its their specialty. All of their twists with infection have been done well and are BALANCED. The experience to me still feel likes the classic infection I loved in Reach, while keeping itself unique and different with these new changes

just played it, plays brilliantly i really enjoyed it, the ARs work fine, the magnum is way to OP in H5 infection

Halo 5 infection is pretty mad nasty good.

Just had my first match, it’s an absolute blast.

I retract my last statement. It’s kind of fun but there is always that one person camping in the far corner with the saw. I think I just had a bad first game, this has been a good laugh so far. The maps are pretty fun and you do get a bit of a jump sometimes.

> It’s good if you’re Human. If you’re Infected, I wouldn’t bother playing. You have a obvious green aura around you so it’s pretty easy to spot an Infected and you take virtually no damage before dying - an AR even with its bad spread can drop you mid-range. For Humans it’s easy, you pick up one of the light rifle and hide in the furthest corner of the map. I just finished my first game and the Humans had to go around killing the Infected but the Infected all stopped playing.

If the alpha zombies are decent, it’s not hard for the zombies to quickly overrun the humans. The only map that had a camping issue for zombies was on the swampy rainy map (I forgot the name), other than that specific map infection is fun and balanced.

You sound like the president addressing the country after a declaration of war, and over some disappointment with a video game. Well guess what. You’re not impressing anybody with the drama queen act.

it seems semi more in favor to the survivors than it is to the infected to me.
