Anybody else book Tuesday off of work?

The benefit to working in the Games industry is that you can book off a certain day for a game release and your boss doesn’t even bat an eye.

Though getting up at 6:00 on the Monday and then going to the midnight release is going to kill me…

I am planning to be sick that Tuesday. My boss will find out Tuesday morning.
That way I keep my last few vacation days for actual vacation

I have the game digitally so I’ll be playing right at 9PM PST on Monday night.

I work Wed-Sat 4-10 schedule. So I took Wed off. I’ll likley be up all night on launch night

I´m not taking the day off of work. But I have the two first weeks of November off of work. So that gives me enough time to play Halo5 and all the other great games that are coming out now.

I cant afford to be sick or miss work and the GameStop in my town isn’t having a midnight release. So my wife is nice enough to grab the game for me when they open and ill be able to play it the second I get off. She might not like video games but if I ever need help with one she does it for love. lol

I can’t get the day off, because i would have to get both Tuesday and Wednesday off. Luckily for me, that Thursday i’ll be home all day alone, so i’ll have a Halo marathon.

I have the game pre-loaded. I took Tuesday off work too. SO I will go to bed Monday night, get up and have a nice breakfast. Then play all day.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but game comes out Oct. 27 1200am across the board. Eastern time people will be playing it 3 hours ahead of PST people.

no point in pre-ordering if you don’t get the game early… just saying…
I preorder games to play them on the weekend before the usual Tuesday release.
