Anyone know if the Spirit of Fire has been confirmed or denied to be in Halo 4?
I hope we see it at some stage in the new trilogy.
It seems that in Halo 4 the Didact is gathering human forces to Requiem, possibly for their help against the ancient evil? If this is true it makes perfect sense for the Spirit of Fire to be in Halo 4, at the end of the credits in Halo Wars the Ship’s A.I says something along the lines of “captain wake up, we’ve got a problem”.
Could that mean that they are getting sucked into Requiem just as the Forward Unto Dawn and the Infinity did? Perhaps they are already on Requiem by the time The Chief and the Infinity get there?
Also I remember Halsey mentioning something about the Spirit of Fire in her journal???

Perhaps, but if my thought on how Halo 4’s story is going to be is correct, then it seems kinda odd to leave a stranded ship floating in space with A LOT of equipment, marines, ODSTs and some Spartans on board.

The Spirit of Fire has been drifting in space for over 25 years… and the Didact or whatever could be directing them?

Same way Infinity did. It would be brought there by the Didact

nah they were probably captured by the covenant, the crew interrogated and executed, the ship studied. or they found a planet and started a colony or something, spirit was a colony ship and has all the tools it needs to start a settlement. or they could still be drifting.
maybe in one of the campaign levels we find some fragments of the ship or something.

That’s true, they could have settled somewhere but I think that’s more unlikely to be honest. I think that if they are going to be in the game the Spirit of Fire will already be there before we arrive.
If not Halo 4 , I would really love to have them back in Halo 6 as a way of tying up losse ends… I would indeed want them to be atleast mentioned on the next triology!
What about a forerunner galaxy. It wouldn’t be to hard to believe.
Remember both the ark and the Shield world we see in halo 4 and 3 were in the same galaxy, Far out, where they were only found because of a slip space portal.
The shield world in halo wars was just randomly found.
So what if, the forerunners made a entire galaxy of forerunner planets as to protect the ark in some way. Each having their own faculties and armaments dedicated to protecting the ark from intruders but because of the slip space teleporter going strait threw the defenses they wouldn’t of been able to react. SO once the arc was destroyed the functions on said planets were redirected to self preservation.
Or maybe they were on self preservation mode after the whole halo wars thing.
Its a long shot of a guess but it could work greatly.
Frank O Conner said that Halo Wars 2 could be on the Xbox because of a few things. First it broke the teams record for the people who bought it. Second it is still the best selling RTS on the Xbox and it “could work on the kinect.” But they aren’t thinking about it right now. But he also said they might not. Here is my proof: GamesRadar+
