Any word on the Scorpion controls?

I am hoping for left trigger to be the drive or something similar to improve the Scorpion controls, I think it looks like they did some work to make it handle better.

Anyone use one at PAX?

There are six pedals but you can only go in four directions.

Why do you want them to change? Sure it may be hard to drive at times, but left trigger? How would we control where we go, we can’t use right trigger for right tread because thats what we use to shoot! I’m not really sure how it could change a lot…

In the panel 343 said it controls more like halo 3. In other words reach’s floaty tank controls are gone.

thank the gods!

OT as long as the control feels more like the h3 then reach im fine

I honestly think the floaty tank controls in Reach make sense. That tank is so overpowered it needs something to make it a bit more balanced, though it does seem that the H4 Scorpion fires a lot slower more like the H3 version so it might be ok.

Well Halo 4 will be making the Scorpion’s round fire in an arc IIRC.

I think an increased waiting time in Reach would have been sufficient. Driving the tank is far more important than abusing a gun. I would not want to sacrifice mobility for power coughReach Wraithcough
