My PC is far from a lower end rocking a RTX 3909, 64GB ram and a i9 10th 10900k CPU. In general I’m experiencing no difference between aim assist on my PC or my Series X. And that’s assuming I get aim assist to begin with.
Maybe pc players are on controller because they’ve always played Halo on controller and they wouldn’t want it any other way.
Maybe it wouldn’t even occur to them to choose one input over another because they thought it had more aim assist.
A mouse will always be more accurate - especially since infinite has the lowest aim assist of the series. I really hope they add an option to turn off crossplay.
This would also satisfy the people who can’t aim with a mouse.
