Wierd the title wouln’t write in lower case so sorry about that. But anyways, has 343 released anything that they are at least looking into the matter? Online co-op is horrible right now as I’m sure many of you know but I can’t seem to find anything that 343 has said they are at least working on it. Are we just gonna have to live with it?
My theory is maybe there isnt a fix. Halo CE CO-OP was never truly made for online, they just made it available online so the few who had a good enough connection to play it could, instead of not having it at all and only having system link co-op as the new thing.
I don’t have the greatest connection and co-op works fine for me and my friends.

That would make no sense. It isn’t 10 years ago. If they make an online multiplayer, it should be done right or patched. Me and my cousin have good connections, and live 10 minutes away from each other, and we still get input lag. Its frustrating. It should be patched.

Same here, in fact it actually works better for me than with past Halos.
My issues vary, I definitely think it’s an issue with whoever ends up hosting. Pretty sure I was the hose one night and it got terrible. It also got much worse when there were heavy firefights.

Playing Games on LAN is the best way to play Halo.
I’m not really having any issues. Mine runs as smoothly as possible…in classic mode.
I’ve noticed the same old framerate issues from the original are there though.
heh another funny thing is they seem to be deleting threads that are about this issue… Wonder when this one will be deleted…

yes, but it’s really hard for 343i to “fix/patch” the netcode with out doing the one thing the swore they would not do, and that’s cut into the original Halo CE engine.

Well, you can’t when you moved to United States and your best friend moved to Japan, while the rest of your friends stayed in Mexico…
