Any word on custom challenges?

Anyone know if the custom challenges that 343 added to Reach last year will make a return in Halo 4? It was a feature I really enjoyed. It kept me and my brother playing the game as we could rank up playing how we wanted (usually campaign) rather than being forced to play MM or something.

I noticed in game there’s a Waypoint Challenges part in the menu but it says there’s nothing available. Is this to be used for custom challenges?

I hope it makes a return too, there’s a lot of stuff which got left on reach. But they have added more challenges in general so i won’t throw a tantrum if they don’t.

The fact that they added it to Reach themselves always made me think they testing it for Halo 4.
