Any word on Brutes, Drones, and Engineers?

Elites
Grunts
Jackals
Hunters

Those have all been confirmed to be in the game. But has there been any word on the Brutes, Engineers, and Drones? The Gravity Hammer seems to be in the game, so could that mean there are going to be Brutes to use them in the campaign, right? Or it could simply be there for grifball and custom games.

Drones and Engineers as far as I know have no confirmation, although no denial of them appearing. These three species add variety within the enemy sandbox. Sure this is only a small fraction of the Covenant, but they are still a strong force.

No Brutes.

Brutes are confirmed to be not in the game.

No word on Drones or Engineers yet.

Ah…What a shame.

So the hammer is in just for custom games. Great.

Hopefully Drones and Engineers are there to fill the gap I suppose.

Drones doubtful, and Engineers probable because they are actually a forerunner creation.

No its in the campaign, there is an achievement for it.

I hope there are no engineers, they made some firefights ridiculously hard of legendary.

No Brutes. Looks like Elites are going to be weilding Gravity Hammers though.

No word on Drones or Engineers yet.

Personally, I hope Drones don’t return, but, if they make their way in, it’s not a big deal.

Engineers might be in. They were mentioned in Glasslands because they were found in a shield world (they are Forerunner biological machines). Well, guess where we’re going in Halo 4? A shield world! So, there’s some possibility that they’re in.

That’s kind of the point, the watchers are going to make things even worse.

Elites typically don’t like Brute weapons because they lack finesse, so it’s a bit disappointing that 343i is having Elites wield Gravity Hammers…

They’re a splinter group, they’de be desparate for arms. They might just decide any hammers they can obtain may be useful. Heck during the war Elites wouldn’t touch a human weapon if their plasma rifle was overheated to the point of meltdown. After the war they’re trading for human weapons left and right.

I’d be surprised if there were any drones and engineers. No one in the covenant liked the drones, and the drones hated the Covenant; even if the Storm wanted them in, it’d be really hard to convince them to join up. Engineers, according to Glasslands, have more or less all disappeared. Somebody got a hold of them. Maybe it turns out it’s the Storm, but I personally suspect it’s the unggoy (no evidence, but I think they’re savvy enough to take an advantage where they can get it; unless maybe the kig-yar swiped them and sell them off to hidden factions).

Brutes - not in
Engineers - uninteresting except as plot device
Drones - Crawlers will likely take their place and be better at it (not annoying). Nonetheless, I wouldn’t mind seeing Drones. They were rarely seen in Reach.

“they are not - but there’s some story stuff I can’t get into” Frank in regards to Brutes being in H4.

Story stuff could very well mean ANYTHING. We may not SEE Brutes in H4, but maybe they’ll play a behind the scenes type role. Maybe we’ll find an abandoned camp and oh hey there’s a gravity hammer. The possibilities are endless.

Brutes have been confirmed to not be in Halo 4. Drones and Engineers? No confirmation.

No Brutes.

No word on Drones… I hope they aren’t in. They were annoying.

No word on Engineers, but it became clear that most disappeared after Truth was killed. They were Forerunner, though… so thry could be on Requiem. They might not be serving the Covies though.

Perhaps the gravity hammer in the campaign is a scarab gun-like situation. Perhaps it’s hidden as an easter egg and you have to find it.

I’d love that, I’d love to see a bunch of Brute corpses just laying around with a G.H. beside one, but like I said, it could really be anything.

I’m hoping for no Drones. I never did like them.
