Any way to turn off the timer in custom games?

I’d like to not display a timer in the lower right corner when playing a custom game so that the spawn of power ups in Halo CE can’t be timed. Currently, setting a match time to unlimited means there will be a timer in the lower right corner of everyone’s screen that counts up until the specified amount of kills is reached for the game to end. If the match time is set to 5, 10, 15 minutes etc, then the timer is in the lower right corner counting down the time.

Is there any way to remove the timer? Or can I submit a feature request?

I’m pretty sure that there’s no option to remove it in the custom game settings (maybe in Forge, but i’m not an expert). As you said , the timer counts up, but only in Halo CE. Different story for Halo 2/3/4 ,where you can disable it.
