I just became a flight tester for console and I’ve played more than a few games now. I was wondering if there is a way to map multiple inputs to one button using a press/hold mechanism, for example press LT for Throw Grenade vs hold LT for Use Equipment. I noticed under the Controller tab there’s a ‘switcher control’ function which I’m not sure what exactly it does. There’s also another function towards the bottom of the Controller tab that is an ‘equipment switcher’ that I am equally unsure as to what it does. I thought maybe it could have something to do with my button mapping question, so maybe someone could shed some light on these questions?

idk what that switcher control is. But that equipment switcher is the EQUIPMENT SWITCHER grapple, shields camo, overshields maybe switcher is to switch grenades not sure. But if you buy an xbox elite 2 series controller you can do what u are asking.
Hmm I was unaware of this functionality for the Xbox elite 2 series controller, only that it had multiple buttons underneath. Guess you’d tweak it in the core console settings under ‘controller’?
